More Armstrong Doping Evidence On Web

People who say there is no evidence that Armstrong used drugs are wrong. There is plenty of evidence. There is sworn testimony, documents, circumstantial evidence, and even drug tests. There is more than enough evidence for a jury to conclude that Armstrong used drugs. (If you need a quick review, Wikipedia has a summary.)
Some of the most interesting evidence is now on the web. Wednesday night, the CBC ran a documentary "Cycle of Denial" about doping in cycling. It's on-line and worth watching. Betsy and Frankie Andreu repeat that Armstrong admitted to using a list of drugs. (Frankie and Armstrong were teammates and friends.)
Compare what Betsy and Frankie Andreu say and how they say it with what Lance says. The Andreus are introduced near the beginning of the program, Frankie talks about the last Tour beginning at about 7:57, and Betsy and Frankie relate that Armstrong admitted to using drugs at around 11:58. From that point on, keep watching.
By the way, the report that supposedly "cleared" Armstrong after his urine samples tested positive, does not say that there was not EPO in Armstrong's samples. The report says that the testing, done as part of a research project, did not follow the UCI procedures needed to sanction a rider. If you have a spare day (hah!) read it yourself.
Does the evidence mean that Armstrong used drugs? My opinion is that he did, but I don't think the evidence absolutely compels that conclusion. But whether you agree or not, one thing is absolutely certain: There is undoubtedly evidence that Armstrong used drugs.
