Reed College Helps Keep The Rich, Rich (Take 2)
Comments:
I have a theory: When Reed was finishing its normal cycle, and had already applied the *usual* need-aware criteria, finance came along (in mid March?) and said that because of new recession estimates, they had to admit *another* 100 full-payers (note approx. 33% yield), and strike 100 needy kids planned for admission. This way, everyone is being truthful, and no big mistakes were made. Plausible?
